In Quebec, only schools recognised by the SAAQ may offer the mandatory driving courses, and instructors must have completed the training overseen by the delegated body, the AECQ. Among other requirements, the programme calls for a class 5 licence held for at least two years and sponsorship by a recognised school. The full conditions are set out on the website of theAssociation des écoles de conduite du Québec (AECQ) and on that of the SAAQ.
