(hereinafter "Vision Plus", "we", "our" or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its students, visitors and users of its website jeconduis.com (hereinafter the "Site"). This privacy policy describes the information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and the measures we take to protect it.
This policy complies with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec Law 25), the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

4. Consent
By using our Site, submitting a contact form or registering for our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this policy.
For commercial electronic communications (promotional emails, special offers), your explicit consent is required under CASL. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
4.1 Consent to SMS Communications
Sending text messages (SMS) requires your explicit and separate consent. When submitting a form on our Site or during registration, you may choose to receive SMS communications by checking the designated box. This consent covers:
- Transactional messages: appointment reminders, class confirmations, notifications related to your training and exams
- Promotional messages: special offers, seasonal promotions and information about our programs (only if you consent separately)
Message frequency varies by type:
- Transactional messages: as needed throughout your training
- Promotional messages: maximum 4 messages per month
Standard text messaging rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Vision Plus does not charge any fees for sending SMS messages.
4.2 Withdrawing SMS Consent
You may withdraw your consent to SMS communications at any time by:
- Replying "STOP" or "ARRÊT" to any message received
- Contacting us by phone at 450-682-4142
- Using the contact form on our Contact Us page
Withdrawing consent to promotional messages does not affect transactional messages related to your ongoing training, which are necessary for the delivery of our services.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information
Vision Plus does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We engage third-party service providers who process personal information on our behalf and according to our instructions. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.

- Disclosure necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Vision Plus, its students or the public
5.3 Transfer Outside Quebec
Some of our service providers (including Google and Brevo) may process data outside Quebec or Canada. In accordance with Law 25, we ensure that these providers offer an adequate level of personal information protection before any transfer. A privacy impact assessment is conducted when required.
6. Retention of Personal Information
Your personal information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

Upon expiry of the retention period, personal information is securely destroyed or irreversibly anonymized.
7. Cookies

7.1 Essential Cookies

- Right of deletion: you may request deletion of your personal information when its retention is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Right to withdraw consent: you may withdraw your consent at any time for commercial electronic communications, SMS messages and non-essential cookies
- Right to data portability: you may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used technological format
- Right to be informed: in the event of a privacy incident presenting a serious risk of harm, you will be notified as required by law

9. Security of Personal Information
Vision Plus implements reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. These measures include:

- Restricted access to personal information to authorized personnel only
- Secure hosting of Site data
- Regular updates to security systems and software
10. Privacy Incidents
In the event of a privacy incident involving your personal information and presenting a serious risk of harm, Vision Plus will:

- Notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI)
- Inform you of the incident as required by Law 25
11. Third-Party Websites
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including the SAAQ website (saaq.gouv.qc.ca) and our registration platform (app.jeconduis.com). This privacy policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit.
12. Minors
Our driver training services are available to persons at least 16 years of age, in accordance with SAAQ requirements. For students under 18, parental consent is required for registration and the collection of personal information.
13. Changes to This Policy
Vision Plus reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the date of last update. In the event of a material change, a notice will be prominently displayed on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
14. Complaints
If you believe your privacy rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with our Privacy Officer at the coordinates indicated in section 1.
