How to prepare for the SAAQ road test

Insufficient visual checks — this is the number one mistake. Failing to check blind spots before changing lanes or turning often leads to failure. Therefore, make it a habit to turn your head, not just your eyes.
Not following road signs — an incomplete stop at a stop sign or even slight speeding can result in immediate failure. In fact, the examiner pays close attention to these details.
Excessive nervousness — stress can make you forget things you normally do well. So, breathe calmly, take your time, and drive the way you do during your lessons.
Parking maneuvers — practice parallel parking and three-point turns until they become automatic. These are maneuvers the examiner asks for almost every time during the SAAQ road test.
Tips for exam day
